I want to welcome you to this Blog. I will be using this all term in order to update you on what is needed for each unit. I also will have some overall guidelines for how to get the best grade on everything you do in the course.

I used this type of communication last term and it is wonderful for everyone. It allows you to have a history of notices and emails to go back to. I put all important information here- emails too.
I will always advise you to come here if you do not know something.
I also recommend, that if you have a question, rather than emailing me, post it in the General Question Area in the course. I can GUARANTEE you are not alone with the questions.

- Hello, I am a Physical Therapist and Educator. I have my MS in Human Performance and my PhD in Education with a focus on Instructional Design for online learning. I teach face to face Biology classes full time and Nutrition online as an adjunct. I also do consulting for a company in which I am designing online instruction in the health care field. I love teaching online and feel that since I was an online student- I am very aware of how it feels to be one. Since I understand the issues that face online students, I try to make sure that my students will succeed with as much support and help I can give them.
